Minnesota Valley Action Council (MVAC) is seeking a Head Start Aide to support classroom operations for preschool children in New Ulm, MN. Responsibilities include assisting with curriculum, meal services, and safe bus-related supervision where provided, under Head Start standards.
Ideal candidates will have experience with preschoolers, strong communication and organization skills, and may have bilingual abilities.

Minnesota Valley Action Council (MVAC) is a nonprofit community action agency serving south-central Minnesota since 1965. Blue Earth, Brown, Faribault, Le Sueur, Martin, Nicollet, Sibley, Waseca, and Watonwan counties.
Aides assist with classroom operations including the planning and implementation of activities, maintaining the classroom environment, meal preparations, and supervision of children. Where offered, they assist children on and off the bus, maintaining orderly conduct while bus is in transit. They must abide by Head Start Performance Standards to support the child's development and school readiness, work as a team member to support child and family needs, and develop child educational and family goals. They develop and maintain professional working relationships with families, partners, co‑workers, and supervisors.
