Position Summary

The Physical Therapy Aide assists the physical therapy staff with routine operational tasks. Help prepare treatment equipment and rooms, assist patients with limited mobility to reach treatment areas, and perform administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment, set up equipment, change linens, and clean therapy rooms/equipment.
• Provide patients with information regarding treatments and evaluations.
• Monitor and maintain inventory for physical therapy supplies.
• Ensure treatment rooms and open gym space adhere to safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• Previous experience in a healthcare environment preferred.

Skills and Physical Requirements

• Detail-oriented and customer/client focused.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Physical activities including sitting, walking, squatting, stooping, lifting, bending, reaching.
