Job summary

Oregon Department of Corrections seeks an Office Specialist 2 at Deer Ridge Correctional Institution in Madras, OR. You will provide confidential admin support for the AIC Work Program, handle records, and assist with crew and supervisor coordination.

Qualifications

• Two years of general clerical experience including keyboarding and document creation.
• Or an associate degree in any field.
• Or an equivalent mix of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily AIC attendance and ensure accurate records.
• Process PRAS inquiries, corrections, and calculations.
• Maintain training rosters, files, and mail distribution.
• Draft professional correspondence and take meeting minutes.
• Manage AIC work applications and support the Work Programs Coordinator.
• Coordinate with staff, AICs, host agencies, and partners.
• Assist with inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Provide cross-training and coverage for OS2 roles.
• Stay current on ODOC and DRCI rules and procedures.
