【What you’ll do】

• AI4S needs analysis & solution design: work closely with materials R&D and algorithm engineers to identify key pain points in lithium-battery materials research, define AI4S application scenarios (e.g., materials performance prediction, optimal formulation recommendation), design advanced cross-scale solutions from material → electrode → cell (micro to macro), and drive end-to-end implementation to accelerate full-factor cell models.

• Materials database development: based on physical experiments, computational simulations and high-throughput experiments, design appropriate business/data architectures and build a full-lifecycle database linking composition–process–physical parameters–electrical performance (e.g., crystal structures, process parameters, test data) to enable data-driven materials R&D.

• High-throughput experimentation: support the setup of automated experimental platforms; collaborate on experiment design, testing and data acquisition system optimization to ensure smooth deployment of the automated lab.

• Master’s degree or above in Materials, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science or related fields. (Designed for 2026 graduates.)

• Technical background in batteries/electrochemistry; hands-on experience in AI4S implementation or simulation projects is preferred.

• Familiarity with machine learning/deep learning frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow); capable of data cleaning, feature engineering and model tuning.

• Proficiency in at least one multi-scale computation tool: VASP, LAMMPS, COMSOL.

• Project management skills to coordinate resources and manage schedule, risk and quality.

• Proficiency in both English and Chinese for fluent communication; able to use both languages as working languages.
