Job Description

In your new role you will:

  • Interface with internal and external customers to resolve technical issues requiring in depth product knowledge
  • Drive design for test and manufacturability, and quality improvement through PPM reduction
  • Drive corner lot planning including characterization and qualification testing
  • Drive wafer acceptance test (WAT) to final test specification alignment
  • Monitor new product design reliability testing, perform interval shift analysis
  • Some overseas travel may be required for training, product transfers and release

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Microelectronics, or a closely related field
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, with a strong focus on Power Modules
  • Proven track record in product engineering, assembly & package development, and failure analysis
  • Deep knowledge of Power Module design, assembly technologies, and packaging processes
  • Solid background in stress testing, reliability qualification, and root cause investigation
  • Hands-on experience with FA labs, DOE, and material/process characterization
  • Process expertise across front-end and back-end manufacturing
  • Familiarity with automotive standards and AEC-Q qualifications is highly valued
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects and interface with global teams, customers, and suppliers
  • Strong project ownership, organizational and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities; comfortable representing PRE topics in high-level discussions
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Python, Excel)
  • Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, and structured problem-solving mindset
