Job summary

PGA Tour is seeking an implementation-focused Forward Deployed Engineer to design, configure, and rollout AI-enabled workflows across departments. The role emphasizes secure, reliable enterprise solutions and collaboration with product, engineering, data science, cybersecurity, and operations teams.

You will document workflows, translate needs into technical requirements, build prototypes, and support adoption and ongoing optimization across PGA Tour departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years in software engineering, systems integration, or related technical role.
• Experience configuring, building, or integrating enterprise software platforms and data pipelines.
• Strong full-stack or backend skills (Python, JS/TS, REST APIs, cloud services).
• Familiarity with generative AI tools, LLMs, and AI-enabled solution delivery.
• Ability to translate stakeholder needs into technical requirements and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Document existing workflows with departments and identify AI-enabled improvements.
• Translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements, maps, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
• Configure and implement approved AI tools, integrations, and automation for workflows.
• Build lightweight prototypes and proof-of-concepts to prove feasibility and value.
• Support rollout, adoption, troubleshooting, and documentation for workflows.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data science, cybersecurity, and operations.
