Job summary

AMD in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced Validation Architect to shape validation strategy for AI/ML/HPC accelerators. You will work with architecture, design, product engineering, software and hardware teams to develop validation methodologies, automation, emulation strategies, and robust debug capabilities that enable silicon bring-up and high-quality products.

Qualifications

Deep understanding of GPU, SoC, and server platform architectures including post-silicon bring-up and system-level debug.
Experience building validation architectures, methodologies and automation for complex semiconductor products.
Proficiency in C/C++ and Python with familiarity in Linux and Windows server environments.
Ability to influence technical direction and build cross-functional partnerships with engineers, architects and executives.
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills with a drive for innovation.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve AMD's validation strategy for AI/ML/HPC accelerators with scalable methodologies.
Drive validation innovations across the product lifecycle for observability, debuggability, and automation.
Provide architectural leadership for silicon and platform challenges and guide issue resolution.
Collaborate with silicon architects to develop validation approaches for new technologies and memory systems.
Champion AI-assisted validation workflows and data-driven quality across large-scale data centers.
