DataAnnotation is seeking a designer to evaluate how models reason about UX and visual design, critique flows, and teach the next generation what good design actually is. You’ll identify when polished visuals mask poor usability and write actionable critiques that teach better design decisions.

You’ll review AI design work across user flows, layout, and hierarchy, then articulate the rationale for improvements to guide future work and training signals. Flexible, remote work available.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in product, UX, or visual design, with a portfolio to back it.
• Sharp eye for usability, hierarchy, typography, and accessibility.
• Clear written English: explanations are the training signal.
• No degree required. We care about what you can do, not where you learned it.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI design work across user flows, layout, and visual hierarchy.
• Catch the failures under the polish: clumsy flows, weak hierarchy, accessibility issues.
• Write the stronger critique with design rationale when the model falls short.
