Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking a designer to evaluate how AI models design user experiences and visual interfaces, and to critique flows that miss the user’s point.

You’ll review design work across user journeys, typography, accessibility, and hierarchy, and write actionable feedback to teach better design. This role is remote with flexible project-based work and compensation aligned to task complexity. You’ll collaborate with a distributed team to improve how AI-generated UX is presented to users.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in product, UX, or visual design with a portfolio to back it.
• Sharp eye for usability, hierarchy, typography, and accessibility.
• Clear written English: your explanations are the training signal.
• No degree required. We care about what you can do, not where you learned it.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI design work across user flows, layout, and visual hierarchy and judge whether it serves the user.
• Catch failures under the polish: clumsy flows, weak hierarchy, accessibility problems a mockup hides.
• Write stronger critique with design rationale when the model falls short.
