Job summary

Mark III Construction seeks a Director of AI to identify, evaluate, and drive the adoption of AI and automation across its business functions, including MEP construction, service, manufacturing, VDC, and finance.

The role chairs the AI Committee, defines strategy and governance, and partners with department leaders to pilot and scale high-value AI use cases while coordinating with IT for secure implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in AI, automation, technology transformation, or data analytics.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide AI/automation initiatives.
• Ability to translate business problems into AI/automation solutions.
• Experience cross-functionally influencing leaders and managing vendors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a company-wide AI strategy and roadmap.
• Chair the AI Committee with cross-functional representation.
• Enforce AI governance: use, privacy, vendor risk, approval processes.
• Own build-vs-buy-vs-partner framework for AI tools and vendors.
• Lead deployment of AI tools in partnership with IT and department champions.
