Job summary

Bosch is seeking a Technical Manager – AI Software and Processes in North America to lead regional AI strategy across engineering, product development and business processes. This role blends technical leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration to shift from traditional software to AI-enabled automotive solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
• Demonstrated deploying AI solutions into embedded systems, preferably automotive or safety-relevant products.
• Experience with planning, developing, validating, debugging, tracing, and analyzing performance for embedded AI products.
• Ability to lead the transition from classical software development to AI-assisted development.
• Experience with automotive product development through the V-model: requirements, design, implementation, integration, validation, release.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the regional strategy for the use of AI across roles, functions, and development processes.
• Lead and coach associates through the transition into AI-assisted roles and new tools.
• Advise on AI-related investments, organizational development, and capability building.
• Collaborate with other U.S. locations and global teams on AI capabilities integration.
• Create concepts and architectures for deploying AI into Bosch performance computers, including AI cockpit and ADAS.
• Support acquisition activities with technical expertise and customer-facing guidance on AI topics.
• Drive alignment between software engineering, embedded systems, AI development, validation, and product management.
• Promote scalable processes, tools, and best practices for AI-assisted software development and performance optimization.
