Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a hands-on Lead for AI Tutors to drive training data quality and evaluations powering our models. You will set standards, review domain work, and scale operations while contributing to labeling tasks.

You will coach a team, manage performance, and collaborate with Human Data Managers and Engineering to translate model needs into clear labeling strategies and requirements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in data labeling, annotation, AI training/evaluation or similar operational domains.
• Bachelor's degree, or 4+ years of professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Familiarity with data quality metrics and guideline-driven workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality and delivery for assigned Human Data projects, reviewing work to ensure accuracy and high-quality data production at scale.
• Lead, coach, and performance-manage a team of AI Tutors, including performance reviews and action plans.
• Oversee labeling and reviewing tasks to maintain high standards and model best practices.
• Ensure strict guideline adherence, taxonomy management, and quality assurance processes.
• Drive efficiency by identifying bottlenecks and implementing process improvements with KPI dashboards.
• Build and deliver training materials, practice tasks, and certification benchmarks.
