Job summary

Oliver Wyman is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead client projects in the Telco + Quotient AI domain. You will guide teams, manage complex programs, and develop new business by delivering insights and high-quality deliverables.

The role requires 4–7 years in strategy consulting, strong communication, and proficiency in SQL and Python, with AI/genAI expertise preferred. Expect travel approx. 50% with international opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of relevant experience in strategy consulting with a top-tier firm or similar organization.
• Track record of leading and managing teams and delivering results in fast-paced environments.
• Strong background in strategic problem solving with analytical skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Quantitative, technical toolkit including proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Machine learning, data science, AI/genAI capabilities preferred.
• Undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program.
• Client management experience.
• A passion for the creative process and expansive thinking.
• An analytical and rigorous approach to uncovering insights.
• Excellent verbal/written communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Versatility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
• Impeccable judgment with timely decisions.

• Willingness to travel 50% of the time, including internationally.

Responsibilities

• Providing day to day leadership of client projects and client relationships with Partners.
• Leading and managing complex programs to ensure on-time delivery and outcomes.
• Guiding and influencing clients across situations and advising.
• Engaging in business development by identifying new opportunities.
• Creating intellectual capital through thought leadership and cross-topic knowledge.
• Developing others and building followership within the team.
• Leading firm-building activities and serving as a role model for values.
• Overseeing the consulting team as hypotheses are developed and interviews conducted.
• Supporting Partners in project execution through planning, workflow, and coaching.
