Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Technology Product Owner to lead the development of AI products supporting IT and business initiatives. You will work with a cross-functional team including AI Analysts, AI Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Architects, Front End Developers, and others to define the product vision, a business and technology roadmap, features, and user stories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, business, logistics or related field.
• Minimum five years' experience as a product owner, product manager, or similar role in digital product development.
• PMI, PMP, PMI ACP; or CSM certification or equivalent preferred. ITIL knowledge preferred.
• Experience supporting enterprise reporting, business intelligence, analytics platforms or data-focused technology teams.
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies, tools, and best practices (Scrum, Kanban, Jira, Trello).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to translate customer needs into product requirements and user stories.

Responsibilities

• Define and validate product requirements, features/epics, and user stories and ensure clarity and testability.
• Oversee and prioritize the product backlog to align with vision and roadmap.
• Plan and execute product development sprints and releases with cross-functional teams.
• Review and accept deliverables, providing guidance to ensure acceptance criteria are met.
• Manage the product lifecycle to meet quality standards, compliance, and business objectives.
• Ensure successful sprint execution and prep for upcoming sprints.
• Establish velocity and forecast future efforts; manage sprint priorities.
• Communicate progress and blockers to key stakeholders; remove impediments.
• Create metrics-driven dashboards; partner with EPMO and Jira as truth source.
