Job summary

New Jersey Judiciary is seeking an IT supervisory candidate with proven experience in delivering enterprise-level web-based application solutions. Hands-on with Python or JavaScript/React is desired, with leadership of a development team in cloud environments (AWS/Azure).

The role supports AI initiatives, LLM integration, and secured production deployments. The position offers a hybrid work schedule with up to 3 remote days and requires regular on-site presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of professional IT experience in mainframe, server, and network environments.
• Experience designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting IT systems and services.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and translate requirements into technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Supervision: Directly manage and mentor a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Technical Oversight: Design scalable architectures for AI, Generative AI (GenAI), agentic workloads, integrating LLMs, RAG pipelines and vector databases
• Development Support: Guide engineering teams through technical hurdles, establish coding and MLOps standards and conduct code reviews.
• Project Documentation: Manage the lifecycle of FRDs, providing clear blueprints for Data Modelers and ETL components within the AWS infrastructure.
• Production Integrity: Oversee deployment pipelines, model versioning, safety guardrails and evaluation frameworks in production.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Automated Trial Court Services Unit and application development teams to maintain quality for AI access system enhancements.
• Policy & Procedure Development: Establish clear roles, policies, and procedures to ensure accuracy and alignment of assets with goals.
