Job summary

Point is hiring a Technical Lead Manager to guide a senior AI/ML team building CX agents (voice, email, chat, SMS). You will set technical direction, work closely with Product, Ops, and CX, and stay hands-on in the code while shipping AI-powered experiences for homeowners.

You will lead architecture decisions, drive reliability at scale, and mentor engineers in a fast-growing, remote-first culture with on-site collaboration in Palo Alto.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering with at least 2 years in engineering leadership.
• Proven track record shipping LLM-powered AI in production.
• Experience translating business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define the AI technical strategy for CX and select frameworks and vendors.
• Own the technical roadmap for AI-powered customer experience (voice, email, chat, SMS).
• Write code with your team, review PRs, prototype capabilities, debug production issues.
• Partner with Product, CX, and Ops to replace or augment manual workflows with AI.
• Establish success metrics for agent performance and prioritize the roadmap.
• Design reliable agent architectures for production scale and observability.
• Lead and grow a small, senior engineering team and remove blockers.
• Drive observability and reliability across the AI agent stack, using tools like Langfuse.
