Job summary

Trumid is seeking a Technology Compliance Associate to lead AI governance, SOC 2 operations, and security risk programs. You will work with AWS and CrowdStrike, drive vendor risk, and coordinate audits while interacting with clients and regulators.

Ideal candidate has 4+ years in security/compliance, strong communication skills, and a bachelor’s degree in CS or InfoSec. Remote-friendly role with NYC salary benchmarks and growth in a fintech setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in information security or GRC/compliance with hands-on technical experience and leadership.
• Familiarity with cloud security (AWS required, GCP valued) and security tooling.
• Understanding of AI/LLM security risks and governance frameworks (NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act).
• SOC 2 programs in production environments with audit outcomes.
• Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST frameworks.
• Able to communicate security concepts to institutional clients.
• Experience with security compliance in regulated industries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• CISSP, CISM, Security+ or equivalent preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate SOC 2 program including controls, evidence collection, audits, and maintenance.
• Conduct security risk assessments, phishing simulations, vulnerability management, and pen-testing coordination.
• Drive BCP/DR planning, testing, and documentation.
• Manage security incident response processes and post-incident reviews.
• Track and report security metrics, compliance posture, and remediation.
• Oversee day-to-day security operations, alert triage, and coordination with security engineering.
• Support IAM programs including access reviews and privileged access controls.
• Coordinate third-party pentesting and remediation tracking.
• Lead DDQ process, vendor assessments, and due diligence support.
• Collaborate with legal/compliance on vendor contracts.
