Black Ore is seeking a Technical Tax Specialist to join our Information Architecture team and serve as a tax domain expert for the design of AI-driven tax software. In this role, you will collaborate with CPA’s, architects, engineers, and AI experts to deliver the next generation of AI-enabled innovation for financial services.

This role sits at the intersection of tax practice, information architecture, and AI-enabled software design.

Qualifications

• CPA with minimum 2 years of experience in public accounting or tax technology.
• Experience supporting end-to-end tax preparation including workpapers and fiduciary returns.
• Ability to translate regulatory logic into implementable software artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Translate tax rules and accounting concepts into structured data models and rules.
• Research complex tax guidance to define requirements and workflows for automation.
• Explain regulatory logic to technical stakeholders in clear terms.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate model delivery and artifacts.
