Job summary

CohesionForce, Inc. seeks an AI Platform Integration Engineer to join our Huntsville team. You will integrate AI-enabled applications, data services, and external tools into reliable customer workflows using Python, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks.

You will design stable APIs, implement secure authentication, and deploy containerized services in Kubernetes/OpenShift while ensuring observability and robust testing in a fast-paced, security-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, information technology or related discipline, with 5 years of experience, or 3 years with a related Master's degree.
• Experience building and operating production web services or distributed applications in Python, TypeScript, Java, Go, or similar languages.
• Experience designing REST, event-driven, or tool-oriented APIs and integrating external services.
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes or OpenShift, Linux, Git, testing, and CI/CD.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT validation, service identity, API authorization, or similar security controls.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly with stakeholders and teams.
• Works well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Willingness to work onsite in a closed/classified area.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support services connecting AI applications to enterprise data, APIs, tools, and UIs.
• Define stable, versioned API and tool contracts with inputs, outputs, permissions, and failure behavior.
• Implement secure authentication contexts, delegated access, and human approvals for sensitive ops.
• Build production services using Python or TypeScript and modern web/frameworks.
• Deploy and troubleshoot containerized apps in Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Develop automated tests across unit, integration, and end-to-end workflows.
• Instrument apps with logs, metrics, traces while protecting credentials.
• Diagnose failures across UIs, services, AI, data systems, and external APIs.
• Collaborate with identity, data, reliability, platform, and customer teams to deliver integrated capabilities.
• Produce software designs, interface docs, and customer-facing technical material.
