Job summary

CohesionForce, Inc. is hiring a Software Architect in Huntsville, AL to define and communicate a common architectural vision across engineering teams. The role emphasizes reusable design, DevSecOps, and automation throughout the lifecycle.

You will collaborate with software integration, engineering, and systems leads to ensure alignment with goals and best practices while guiding architecture implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or technology with 10 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with less than 5 years, or a PhD with no related experience.
• Experience with Object-Oriented Analysis (OOA) / Object-Oriented Design (OOD).
• Experience performing software architecture for engineering teams.
• Experience with C++ and Python programming.
• Works well in a fast-paced collaborative team environment.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop a common vision across the organization to guide integrated products, tools, and software components.
• Collaborate with team leads and product teams to implement the vision and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Define, document, and communicate software architecture and designs to engineering teams.
• Ensure products adhere to processes and best practices, focusing on software reuse, DevSecOps, and automation.
• Verify and support the implementation of architecture across engineering teams.
