KBR is seeking a visionary AI Systems Engineer to join our on-site team in Chantilly, VA, delivering critical AI/ML capabilities for national security programs. You will architect, prototype, and productionize AI solutions using enterprise data, guiding LLMs, RAG, and analysis tools to support USG objectives.

Ideal candidates possess TS/SCI with poly, strong Python/R, and experience handling large datasets, model lifecycles, and secure government environments.

Qualifications

• Clearance: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, Master’s degree with 3+ years, PhD with 0+ years.

Responsibilities

• Strategic LLM Initiatives: Shape the AI/ML roadmap for the Government office and guide secure model lifecycle management.
• Rapid Prototyping: Build proof-of-concept models including LLMs for search, summarization, and BI, and develop financial/scheduling models.
• Data Explotation: Work with massive enterprise datasets to curate training data and knowledge bases for RAG deployment.
• Technology Curation & Scouting: Scout commercial tech, academia, and open-source for breakthroughs in AI, NLP, and analytics.
• Contractor & Vendor Management: Draft SOWs and define integration requirements to scale prototypes.
• Technical SETA Advisory: Evaluate contractor designs for AI safety, security, and performance.
