Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners seeks an AI/ML Engineer to support mission-critical intelligence operations in a fast-paced security environment. You will work with mission users to capture complex analytics, identify decision points, and build AI-enabled solutions that enhance efficiency, accessibility, and decision-making.

You will design and deploy LLM-powered workflows, integrate AI into enterprise platforms, and collaborate with analysts, operators, developers, and leadership to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 14+ years in AI/ML, data science, or software engineering in cyber/national security environments.
• Experience capturing operational workflows and translating requirements into automation or executable solutions.
• Experience designing and implementing LLM-powered or agentic workflows, including orchestration and tool integration.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities with APIs, data sources, and mission platforms.
• Strong Python development skills and production-ready application/automation delivery.

Responsibilities

• Capture and document user workflows, translating needs into automation requirements and executable solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement AI/ML capabilities including LLM-powered workflows and agentic automation.
• Integrate AI systems with APIs, data sources, and mission platforms.
• Develop and maintain Python-based applications and automation tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reliable deployment and operation within security constraints.
• Ensure solutions meet security, governance, and performance requirements in classified environments.
