Job summary

MR Walls is seeking an AI Systems Engineer in Santa Monica to build, improve, and maintain AI systems that streamline operations. You will work directly with leadership to develop AI agents, automate workflows, connect systems, and identify opportunities to apply AI across the company.

You will collaborate on AI-powered projects, connect databases and third-party platforms, and explore new tools to enhance efficiency and design workflows with cutting-edge AI technologies.

Qualifications

Experience in software engineering, automation, AI development, or a related field.
Experience with Python.
Experience working with APIs, databases, and system integrations.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain AI agents and automations.
Design and improve AI workflows using OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude Code, Codex, and other emerging AI technologies.
Connect AI systems with internal databases and third-party platforms.

We're building an AI-native company and already use AI across project management, administration, operations, product knowledge, and internal workflows.

We're looking for an AI Systems Engineer to help us build, improve, and maintain AI systems that make our business more efficient. You'll work directly with leadership to develop AI agents, automate workflows, connect systems, and identify new opportunities to use AI throughout the company.

What You'll Do

Build and maintain AI agents and automations
Design and improve AI workflows using OpenClaw, Hermes, Claude Code, Codex, and other emerging AI technologies
Connect AI systems with internal databases and third-party platforms

Requirements

Experience in software engineering, automation, AI development, or a related field

Familiarity with OpenAI, Claude, OpenAI APIs, MCP servers, OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, Vercel, or similar tools
Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving abilities
