Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an experienced User Operations professional to support high-impact, government-related customers. You will troubleshoot complex issues, translate security requirements into actionable steps, and work with Engineering to automate workflows.

The role is hybrid (3 days in the office) with relocation assistance for new employees. You will engage across teams to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable customer experiences at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in User Operations or related technical roles in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Support public sector customers and government-related teams by troubleshooting complex issues and translating security and compliance needs into clear steps.
• Be a trusted expert on OpenAI’s products and platform to resolve complex technical issues.
• Escalate and collaborate with Engineering teams to troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent recurring problems while improving tooling and automation.
