Job summary

T. Rowe Price is hiring for a Software Engineer in its AI Engineering squad, with roles in NYC or Harbor Point, Baltimore.

You’ll design and deploy AI agents, work across engineering teams, and contribute to scalable, responsible AI initiatives. You will collaborate with product owners and business partners to deliver AI-enabled tools, maintain strong engineering practices, and grow your expertise in a Build-Operate-Transfer model while supporting production readiness in a fast-evolving

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field; 2+ years of development in an OO language.
• Hands-on with cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure), containerized microservices, and agent frameworks.
• Exposure to AI-enabled systems, intelligent workflows, or agentic applications.
• Strong testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy AI agents and intelligent systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and stakeholders to develop workflows.
• Incubate new AI products and prepare solutions for production adoption.
• Support Build-Operate-Transfer model for long-term ownership and scale.
• Contribute to reusable AI capabilities and maintain platform governance.
• Champion engineering excellence with automated testing and code quality.
