Bessemer Trust seeks an Applied AI Solutions Lead to translate firm‑wide AI investments into actionable guidance for business teams. You will partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Security to apply AI across Microsoft 365 and enterprise data, shaping how workflows evolve with AI capabilities.

The role requires a strategic mindset, strong AI literacy, and the ability to communicate value and risk to senior business leaders while guiding governance and implementation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in management consulting, business analysis, process design, product management, or a tech-partner role within enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience using AI platforms to solve real business problems with measurable outcomes.
• Ability to shape how a business workflow should evolve, not only document it, with concrete results.
• Strong understanding of prompt design, model capabilities, and differentiating viable vs non-viable use cases.
• Experience translating enterprise SaaS capabilities into practical business guidance.
• Proven ability to balance business objectives with governance, risk, and compliance requirements.
• Experience moving solutions through formal risk, compliance, or audit reviews.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 workflows and applications.
• Understanding of how AI solutions use enterprise data sources (structured and unstructured).
• Familiarity with SharePoint, OneDrive, and Office add-ins or plugins.
• Knowledge of data classification, permissioning, and access models.
• Ability to explain AI underperformance in business terms and suggest changes.
• Experience collecting user feedback and turning it into prioritized requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with business teams to understand how work is performed, including undocumented steps.
• Analyze data on business partnerships and identify AI leverage opportunities.
• Advise on effective use of AI platform capabilities, including Microsoft 365 add-ins.
• Guide usage of AI-enabled Microsoft 365 apps across workflows with business context.
• Evaluate and roll out connectors between AI platforms and enterprise systems.
• Flag data access, classification, and permission questions for governance early.
• Set realistic expectations on solution quality and data currency implications.
• Document which workflow steps require human judgment vs. AI support.
• Prepare governance documentation, testing evidence, and named business ownership.
• Create repeatable patterns and maintain a catalog of reusable solutions.
