Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an Associate Director of AI Strategy and Planning to drive AI governance across Operations and ensure alignment with enterprise AI priorities. You will lead cross-Operations planning (PLAN and LRP) with AI Directors and AI Engineers to intake, scope, and prioritize new use cases, while liaising with the Enterprise AI SteerCo and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience at the intersection of strategy, operations and technology in pharma/biotech.
• Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts and their business application.
• Ability to scope, prioritize opportunities and support roadmap development.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI governance across Operations and align with enterprise AI priorities.
• Lead PLAN and LRP processes for AI initiatives with directors/engineers.
• Create frameworks for use case scoping, prioritization, and business case development.
• Coordinate with Enterprise AI SteerCo and provide updates to senior leadership.
• Track portfolio progress, value realization, risks, and decisions; communicate insights.
