Job summary

AISIN World Corp. of America is seeking a General Manager — AI Lead to shape and execute AI strategy across the DX Strategy department.

You will oversee regional deployment of AI tools and lead cross-functional teams to drive value, governance, and responsible innovation across North American facilities. You will guide the AI transformation by prioritizing high-impact use cases, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with IT, data, cybersecurity and manufacturing stakeholders to scale

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in technology, digital transformation, operations, or business management.
• 5+ years of experience leading AI, advanced analytics, ML, or data-driven initiatives.
• Experience managing large-scale transformation programs.
• Strong organization, leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with DX-Strategy stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of AI, ML, generative AI and analytics.
• Proven proficiency in managing large teams and delivering high-quality services.
• Experience mentoring, training and performance assessments.
• Experience in a global manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing DX-Innovation vendors.
• Proven contribution to DX-Innovation strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regional deployment of AI tools to AISIN and North American facilities.
• Lead AI strategy, roadmap, governance and executive alignment.
• Drive AI transformation by prioritizing high-value use cases and measuring impact.
• Evaluate, implement and scale secure AI technologies with IT, data, cybersecurity and digital teams.
• Lead cross-functional AI teams, develop talent and manage resources, budgets and vendors.
• Ensure responsible AI use by monitoring regulations and maintaining compliance.
• Guide DX-Innovation personnel and conduct performance assessments.
• Oversee DX-Innovation projects and related tasks.
• Create and manage annual DX-Innovation budget planning.
• Conduct regular operational meetings to track daily activities and projects.
• Maintain positive relationships with sites and provide guidance.
• Provide DX-Innovation advice to regional business management.
• Manage critical situations involving AI solutions and new technologies.
• Collaborate with system engineering and DX infrastructure, security, and application service teams.
