Job summary

Watlow seeks an AI Strategy & Transformation Manager to shape how AI is used enterprise-wide. This global, consultative role partners with executives to translate goals into practical AI initiatives and measurable value across manufacturing, procurement, quality, and engineering.

The ideal candidate has transformation or consulting experience, hands-on AI with LLMs, and ability to drive adoption across regions with travel up to 20%—domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, information systems, or related field.
• 7+ years in digital or business transformation, technology consulting, product strategy, or related role.
• Proven experience partnering with and influencing executive and senior stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience applying large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot to business problems.
• Experience designing or delivering retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) or enterprise knowledge solutions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, from the shop floor to the executive level.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Watlow's leadership teams to understand business priorities and identify high-value AI opportunities.
• Assess processes, products, and operations to uncover AI-driven cost savings, efficiency gains, and growth potential, focused on operations initially.
• Build AI adoption roadmaps, develop business cases, and help leaders prioritize initiatives based on value and feasibility.
• Lead discovery workshops to define problems, explore use cases, and align on next steps.
• Translate business challenges into clear requirements for internal technical teams to implement.
• Set priorities for global delivery centers to advance the right projects without direct management of delivery teams.
• Integrate existing AI tools into everyday workflows to maximize value rather than adding new tools.
• Drive adoption, change management, and use case development to ensure practical AI outcomes.
