Varick Agents seeks an AI Forward Deployed Strategist to embed with enterprise clients and lead engagements from discovery to production.

You will translate complex business issues into AI-enabled solutions, present to C-suite stakeholders, and own the delivery end-to-end while shaping Varick's playbooks and platform. The role requires a strategic mindset, founder/operator instinct, and travel 10–20%.

Qualifications

• Track record solving hard, ambiguous problems for senior stakeholders (preferably at top-tier consulting firms or as a founder).
• Ability to reframe problems and reason from first principles.
• Exceptional client presence and ability to hold executive-level discussions.
• Founder or operator instincts with delivery mindset.
• Strong commercial sense and ability to scope engagements with clients.
• AI-native perspective with hands-on view of where AI adds value.
• Extreme ownership: run engagements end-to-end with accountability.
• Willingness to travel to client sites (10-20%).

Responsibilities

• Embed with client leadership and operations teams to map workflows and identify AI leverage.
• Run discovery engagements with interviews, process mapping, and hypothesis-driven analysis.
• Translate business problems into concrete specs for engineering.
• Own engagements end-to-end from first conversation to running system.
• Present findings and recommendations to C-suite stakeholders and defend them.
• Integrate field learnings into Varick's playbooks and platform.
