Job summary

Capgemini Invent in the United States seeks an experienced AI-enabled manufacturing consultant to lead enterprise transformation initiatives for global manufacturers. You will drive advisory and delivery, integrating AI, analytics, and automation across manufacturing operations.

The role requires strong leadership, client-facing skills, and a track record in managing complex programs with exposure to Industry 4.0 and shopfloor technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8–15 years in go-to-market sales, business development, consulting, program management, or strategy roles focused on manufacturing operations or digital transformation.
• Experience enabling large transformation programs in manufacturing with AI-enabled solutions.
• Proven ability to lead projects and deliver solutions in complex, client-facing environments.
• Exposure to multiple industries with a strong foundation in manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and ability to develop impactful presentations.
• Fluent with AI, data analytics and manufacturing software platforms.
• Experience in selling and managing multiple capabilities within Industry 4.0.
• Experience developing value propositions, proposals, managing contract execution, financial project delivery.
• Exposure to manufacturing systems with enterprise applications and shopfloor technologies.
• Experience working with engineering, quality, operations, corporate, IT, and site functions.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, architecture, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales, business development, and consulting initiatives for intelligent manufacturing solutions.
• Develop and execute strategies and innovation programs with clients and partners.
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Mentor and guide consulting teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Be an expert and a visionary in manufacturing.
• Engage with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Operations, IT, and OT teams to understand current and future-state processes.
• Bridge the shopfloor and enterprise by connecting OT, manufacturing systems, AI, and IT platforms.
• Evaluate manufacturing technologies and platforms and provide recommendations aligned to business and operational needs.
• Identify opportunities to standardize, optimize, automate, and digitally enable manufacturing processes.
• Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, solutioning, and technical presentations.
