Edward Jones is seeking an experienced Senior AI Strategist to define future-state AI visions and translate signals into strategic roadmaps. You will align AI opportunities with business goals, work across functions, and shape governance-ready artifacts for executives.

The role emphasizes autonomy, strategic foresight, and collaboration with technology, risk, and compliance leaders to drive enterprise value through responsible AI adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Strategy, Design, Data or Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in strategy, strategic foresight, or enterprise innovation with AI and emerging technologies.
• Ability to translate signals into future-state concepts for executives.
• Experience evaluating opportunities for strategic fit, value, feasibility, adoption, risk, readiness, and dependencies.
• Synthesize business, human, technology, data, and risk perspectives into decision materials for senior audiences.
• Proven ability to build alignment across diverse stakeholders.
• Autonomy in ambiguous, pre-roadmap environments with evolving governance.

Responsibilities

• Define future-state visions for AI-enabled systems aligned to business objectives.
• Explore long-range AI opportunities to inform roadmap priorities.
• Evaluate AI opportunities and provide decision criteria for governance processes.
• Create artifacts to help leaders compare trade-offs and dependencies.
• Model system-level impacts across advisors, clients, AI systems, and enterprise platforms.
• Foster alignment across business, design, technology, analytics, and governance stakeholders.
• Shape narratives and roadmap inputs for executive audiences.
• Monitor external AI developments to refine priorities and value opportunities.
• Propose new concepts applying AI to create business value.
