CACI International Inc. at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston seeks an Artificial Intelligence Software Engineer and Data Scientist to design, develop, test, and demonstrate AI software for human space flight applications.

You will work with engineers, interact with users, and prioritize new features based on customer needs. The role requires strong communication, adaptability, and a passion for space exploration.

Formación

• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident to access USG facilities.
• BS in Computer, Software, Aerospace, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of software development lifecycle experience.
• Python programming experience.
• Experience developing AI models and software.
• Practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning, Data Science and AI.
• Experience training a Machine Learning model.
• Desirable: MS/PhD with AI/Data Science focus.
• Desirable: C++ programming experience.
• Desirable: space vehicle mission operations experience.
• Desirable: UI/UX experience.

Responsabilidades

• Develop AI software for human space flight applications.
• Gather software requirements and develop software design documents.
• Perform testing to verify and validate requirements.
• Present and demonstrate AI capabilities to stakeholders.
• Adhere to JSC standard software process practices.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in Computer, Software, Aerospace, Electrical, or Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline

MS/PhD in Computer, Software Engineering, or Computer Science with AI/Data Science focus
