Job summary

Eagle Brook Church seeks an AI Solutions Manager to lead the church’s AI strategy, governance and tool usage. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to maximize AI value, ensure data protection and ethical practices, and drive staff training and adoption across ministries.

The role reports to the Technology Director, with a focus on responsible AI, vendor management, and continuous improvement within a church technology context.

Qualifications

• Follower of Jesus and aligns with Eagle Brook’s 9 core beliefs.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, MIS or related technical discipline.
• Hands‑on experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or comparable platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, time management and leadership skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to evaluate technology tools for fit and security.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships.
• Self‑directed learner who stays current with technology trends.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains the AI Use Policy aligned with tools, risks and best practices.
• Evaluates AI tools for organizational fit, data security and practical value.
• Oversees configuration and optimization of approved AI tools for workflows.
• Establishes data protection and ethical guardrails for AI use.
• Manages AI vendor relationships including contracts and usage monitoring.
• Designs and delivers AI training programs to build staff literacy.
• Partners with leaders to implement AI/automation in workflows.
• Analyzes processes to map value streams and propose AI solutions.
• Creates practical prompts and self‑service resources for safe usage.
• Monitors AI adoption and guides continuous improvement.
• Supports change management and stakeholder alignment.
• Keeps current with AI landscape and shares insights with leadership.
