Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Sunnyvale, CA seeks an AI Solutions & Experience Lead to drive workflow transformation using Forward Deployed Engineering. You will embed engineers with business units, redesign processes, and deliver scalable AI-powered solutions integrated into enterprise platforms.

You will own end-to-end delivery, build full-stack AI apps, and partner with Platform Engineering to propagate innovations across teams. Strong leadership and 12+ years in engineering are required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in engineering, infrastructure, developer tools, applied AI, or customer engineering environments.
• Strong AI-native software development instincts and ability to improve engineering workflows.
• Excellent judgment to work with senior engineers and executives.
• Experience shipping production systems in fast-moving environments.
• Strong product instincts and systems thinking.
• Comfortable operating with ambiguity and minimal process.
• Excellent communication and customer leadership skills.
• Strong sense of ownership and urgency.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

The AI Solutions & Experience Lead plays a strategic role in driving workflow transformation through the Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) framework. By embedding engineers directly within business units, this position collaborates closely with teams to redesign operational processes, deliver production-ready solutions using AI that can be successfully scaled into enterprise-wide platform capabilities.

Core Responsibilities

• Partner directly with teams across Communications, Legal, and Enterprise Engineering to redesign work with AI.
• Embed with customer teams to understand their workflows, identify opportunities, and build AI solutions that deliver measurable business value.
• Own technical delivery from prototype through production, balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability.
• Build full-stack AI applications, agents, automations, and integrations that transform how work gets done.
• Lead rapid prototyping, remove blockers, and contribute directly in the code when needed.
• Drive adoption by partnering closely with customers through deployment and iteration.
• Turn successful customer solutions into reusable platforms, services, and playbooks that accelerate future deployments.
• Partner with Platform Engineering and Product teams to feed customer learnings back into our core AI capabilities.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in engineering, infrastructure, developer tools, applied AI, or customer engineering environments
• Deep curiosity around AI-native software development and strong instincts for how AI changes engineering workflows
• Strong technical judgment and the ability to operate credibly with senior engineers and executives
