Job summary

Base44, part of Wix, is seeking a Solutions Engineer to be the technical expert for enterprise customers. You’ll work with Sales, CS, and Product to design demos, POCs, and integration patterns, turning complex needs into practical solutions.

You’ll lead technical calls, troubleshoot issues, and translate feedback into product improvements, while staying on the cutting edge of our AI-driven platform in a fully in-person role with three days a week in New York.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in solution engineering/technical pre-sales.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, data structures, webhooks, and data modeling.
• Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Creative and strategic problem-solver who is passionate about elegant solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting ability — reading API responses, logs, and webhook payloads to diagnose issues without engineering.
• Passion for and experience with low-code/no-code or AI-driven development tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales and lead technical calls, understanding customer goals, challenges, and requirements.
• Serve as the go-to technical expert for enterprise customers on the Base44 platform, its capabilities, integration patterns, and best practices.
• Design, build, and present custom demos and proofs-of-concept (POCs) on the Base44 platform that solve real-world business problems for prospective and existing customers.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex technical challenges during pre-sales, POCs, and implementation — reading API/webhook logs and tracing errors to identify root cause and creative workarounds without relying on engineering.
• Translate customer feedback and complex use cases into actionable insights for the Product and Engineering teams, directly influencing the future of the platform.
• Develop and maintain a library of reusable solutions and best-practice guides to empower both customers and internal teams.
• Stay on the cutting edge of our platform’s features, constantly experimenting and pushing the boundaries of what can be built.
