Job summary

Lexical Intelligence is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Solutions Engineer to design, develop, and operationalize AI-driven capabilities for a federal client in Bethesda, MD. You will lead pilots, implement AI solutions, and integrate foundation models within a shared infrastructure, ensuring scalable, secure deployments.

The role requires strong Python and AI/ML development skills, experience with cloud environments, and the ability to deliver end-to-end solutions across data preparation,

Qualifications

• Eight to ten years of relevant experience in AI/ML development and deployment.
• Experience delivering end-to-end AI solutions in production environments.
• Strong background in algorithms, data structures, testing, and system design.
• Ability to work with large, complex datasets and translate findings into usable outputs.
• Experience with cloud and containerized environments (AWS, Kubernetes).
• Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operationalize AI-driven capabilities for a federal client.
• Pilot and implement AI solutions, including lightweight apps within shared infrastructure.
• Integrate foundation models and translate AI techniques into practical tools.
• Support data preparation, model integration, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure solutions.
