Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to join its growing AI team in the Herndon, VA area. You will partner with business teams, translate requirements into technical AI solutions, and quickly build prototypes to validate ideas using LLMs, RAG, APIs, and AWS.

You’ll create reusable code and patterns, test feasibility, and help drive Generative AI adoption across the organization with hands-on work and collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with Python and/or JavaScript.
• Experience working with REST APIs.
• Familiarity with AWS, including technologies such as OpenSearch and S3.
• Understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG.
• Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on approach, experimenting with new technologies and turning ideas into working solutions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to understand workflows and identify opportunities for AI and automation.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Build proofs of concept (POCs) and prototypes for new AI use cases.
• Develop solutions using LLMs, RAG, APIs, and cloud-based technologies.
• Test and evaluate data to determine whether proposed AI solutions are technically feasible.
• Create reusable code, templates, and development patterns for other engineering teams.
• Help drive adoption of Generative AI capabilities across the organization.
