AI Solutions Director (Remote - US)

We seek an experienced AI Solutions Director to lead LLM and Gen AI data projects for enterprise clients. The role requires strategic thinking, client-facing skills, project management, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of the Gen AI landscape, especially LLMs and datasets. The candidate will oversee current projects and identify new use cases, working closely with clients to address their AI data challenges. Coding skills are desirable but not mandatory. Must work Eastern Time hours.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Project Leadership: Manage the full lifecycle of LLM data projects, from scoping to delivery.
2. Project Oversight & Risk Management: Ensure timely delivery, resource planning, and risk mitigation.
3. Team Leadership & Development: Build and mentor high-performing teams, fostering ownership and excellence.
4. Enterprise Client Partnership: Serve as the senior contact for clients, building relationships with VP and C-level stakeholders.
5. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with teams to define requirements and implement solutions.
6. AI Insight and Thought Leadership: Keep abreast of AI advancements.
7. Operational Excellence: Develop project plans, allocate resources, and optimize processes for scalability.

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading solutions engineering or managing complex technical projects in client-facing roles
• Bachelor’s or higher in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, or related; MBA preferred
• Executive communication skills; comfortable with CTOs and VPs
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
• Deep knowledge of LLMs, Gen-AI data pipelines, and evaluation methodologies
• Experience building and managing cross-functional teams
• Financial modeling, margin tracking, and resource forecasting skills
