Akkodis is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer for a full-time role in Bloomington, IN. The engineer will bridge business stakeholders, end users, data/AI teams, and software engineering to rapidly develop and deploy production-ready solutions.

The role emphasizes translating complex requirements into actionable plans, prototyping, and integrating AI, data, and automation into business workflows. Salary ranges from $130,000 to $150,000 per year, negotiable based on experience and location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.
• Significant experience in software engineering and delivering production software.
• Experience designing and deploying solutions with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and iteratively prototype.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand operational challenges and outcomes.
• Translate business problems into technical requirements and implementation plans.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy production-ready software, AI, data, and automation solutions.
• Build rapid prototypes and proofs of concept to validate ideas and gather user feedback.
• Integrate solutions with existing applications, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Operationalize AI, ML, analytics, and automation within business workflows.
