You will build data pipelines, AI-powered analytics, and cloud-based deployments, collaborating with scientists, data scientists, breeders, and analytics teams to translate complex biological data into actionable insights while ensuring governance and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of relevant work experience in data science or AI.
• Familiarity with AI and ML frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Agentic AI and large language models.
• Proven experience designing, building and maintaining end-to-end software solutions.
• Strong Python programming and software engineering skills.
• Experience with big data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks).
• Experience deploying ML models in production.
• Cloud-native applications and AWS expertise.
• Experience with API technologies (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience building software for scientific/R&D data domains.
• Ability to use AI coding assistants responsibly with validation.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building data pipelines to support ML models and analytics.
• Developing end-to-end analytical pipelines and AI solutions.
• Building containerization and orchestration in a cloud environment.
• Managing software deployment and configuration in non-production and production environments.
• Partner with R&D scientists, data scientists, breeders, and analytics teams to translate needs into scalable software.
• Build apps/tools integrating data, models, and decision frameworks into user workflows.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, and tests.
• Evaluate emerging AI capabilities and identify where they improve analytics and decision support.
• Ensure solutions are scientifically valid, explainable, reliable, and compliant with governance standards.
