Qualifications

• PhD in a quantitative field such as Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics, CS, or ML.
• Strong background in genomics and quantitative genetics.
• Proficiency in Python and scientific computing; experience with large data.
• Strong publication record and collaborative problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Design AI/ML-enabled genomics capabilities for trait discovery and genomic prediction.
• Develop scalable computational methods and explainable AI approaches.
• Build scalable bioinformatics workflows integrating genomic data and literature.
• Collaborate with geneticists, breeders, data scientists, and engineers.
• Communicate results clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Drive innovation by identifying emerging ai/ml approaches for discovery.
