Job summary

Syngenta Group is seeking a Data & Insights Manager to lead our North America Data & Analytics strategy and deliver enterprise Data, Analytics, and AI solutions. The role partners with regional and global stakeholders to develop scalable data products and strengthen data governance.

You will drive Data Mesh initiatives, govern data assets, and guide AI transformation across North America while building high-performing teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Informatics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience leading Data & Insights, Analytics, or Commercial Technology teams, including at least 5 years supporting commercial functions.
• Experience developing and implementing Data Strategy, Data Governance, Data Mesh, AI Transformation, and Analytics solutions; Databricks, Qlik, SAP, Salesforce.com a plus.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-based data platforms, AI tools, data engineering, visualization, and modern analytics technologies.
• Experience leading Agile/Scrum product delivery teams in a complex matrix organization.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable data products and actionable insights.
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders, vendor partnerships, and enterprise technology initiatives.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the North America Data & Insights strategy and team, aligning regional priorities with global initiatives.
• Drive delivery of scalable Data, Analytics, AI, and Data Mesh solutions that create measurable business value.
• Partner with business leaders and IT stakeholders to identify opportunities and translate needs into data solutions.
• Lead Data Mesh implementation, Data Governance, and AI transformation across North America.
• Mentor and lead internal teams and external partners in an Agile environment.
• Manage the North America Data & Insights budget and ensure successful execution of initiatives.
• Represent North America on the Global Commercial Data & Insights Leadership Team.
