Job summary

MITRE is seeking an Intermediate AI Solutions Architect to join the AI Enablement team in the Mission Computing division. You will apply established patterns to build AI-enabled applications and data workflows for mission users, with guidance from senior staff.

You will collaborate with mission users, platform teams, and security stakeholders to deliver reproducible AI capabilities, demonstrations, and training in a hybrid work environment on-site several days a week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or a Master's degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, software engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical field; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
• Active Secret clearance required within one year; U.S. citizenship.
• Experience developing, integrating, testing, or supporting applied AI solutions, AI/ML workflows, AI-enabled applications, software services, data integrations, developer environments, or related technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Engage mission users to clarify objectives, workflows, data needs, security constraints, and adoption challenges; translate needs into prototypes and implementations.
• Develop, integrate, test, and document AI-enabled applications and workflows using approved tools and APIs.
• Support secure, repeatable use of AI in mission and software workflows with established procedures.
• Collaborate with mission users, AI communities, platform teams, security stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver defined work.
