IIAW is building an AI practice to help independent insurance agencies and Big ’I’ state associations use AI in practical, measurable ways. As an AI Solutions Specialist, you will build AI agents, assistants, automations, and workflows for IIAW staff and members.

This role targets recent graduates or early-career professionals with up to two years of relevant experience. You will learn rapidly, experiment, and grow with an emerging practice while advancing practical insurance-technology

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data science, business analytics, engineering, emerging technology, or related field.
• One to four years of relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience building at least one AI agent, assistant, automation, chatbot, application, or workflow.
• Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, ChatGPT, Claude, Power Automate, Zapier, Make, APIs, connectors, or similar platforms.
• Basic familiarity with coding or scripting (Python, JavaScript, JSON, SQL, APIs).
• Strong problem-solving skills and persistence to improve solutions.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate across roles and technical backgrounds.
• Willingness to learn responsible practices involving privacy, cybersecurity, data governance, IP, accuracy, and oversight.
• Insurance experience is not required but preferred.

Responsabilités

• Build AI agents and assistants using approved platforms.
• Automate workflows by connecting tools, data, forms, documents, and business processes.
• Turn needs into prototypes and production-ready tools after stakeholder meetings.
• Test and improve output quality, reliability, and security.
• Create templates, prompts, knowledge bases, and playbooks scalable across users.
• Support implementation with pilots, training, and feedback collection.
• Promote responsible AI practices with privacy, governance, and oversight.
• Deliver demonstrations, training, and written guidance for varied technical levels.
• Stay curious and share recommendations with the team.
• Manage work with plans, priorities, and progress updates.
