Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software language.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading agentic development at production scale (AI a plus).
• Experience with AI tools: eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.

Responsibilities

• Embed within customer engineering teams and translate business problems into scalable AI-enabled production systems.
• Build production AI applications powering AI workflows and integrate data sources, APIs and existing apps.
• Own production from design through rollout with monitoring, guardrails, and CI/CD.
• Accelerate customer transformation by identifying AI adoption opportunities across workflows.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to AWS AI best practices.
