AI Solution Specialist

We have an opportunity for an AI Solution Specialist to join our Business Strategy team in Tacoma, Washington, reporting to the Strategic Programs Director. In this pivotal role, you will help design, deliver, and scale practical AI solutions that transform how Bloxers work — from productivity and automation to decision support and AI-indexed workflows. Collaborating closely with functional leaders, IT, operations, data and AI teams, and our AI Investment Office, you will translate real business problems into secure, production-ready AI solutions that deliver measurable value using enterprise platforms such as Glean and Microsoft Copilot.

Be a Contributor — What You’ll Do
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact AI use cases and workflows across functions that improve productivity, cycle time, quality, or decision‑making
  • Translate business needs into practical AI solution designs, including agents, copilots, automations, and analytics grounded in enterprise data
  • Design and configure AI agents and workflows using platforms such as Glean, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and approved third‑party AI tools
  • Collaborate with IT, data, and security teams to connect solutions to the right systems and data sources, aligned to Infoblox AI governance and guardrails
  • Build clear success metrics and lightweight business cases for AI solutions, and instrument telemetry to track adoption, time saved, quality, and financial impact
  • Run pilots end to end — from discovery and scoping through testing, user feedback, iteration, and production rollout
  • Use AI tools directly in your own work (e.g., GenAI copilots, RAG‑based agents, analytics assistants) to accelerate analysis, content, documentation, and reporting
  • Partner with enablement and change leaders to create simple how‑to guides, demo flows, and training moments that help teams adopt AI in daily work
  • Document and share reusable patterns, prompts, architectures, and checklists so future AI solutions can be built faster and more consistently
Be Prepared — What You Bring
  • Relevant foundational skills in business analysis, solutions consulting, project/program management, or operations analysis, as well as a strong AI background in AI and experience with automation or advanced analytics
  • Proven ability to take ambiguous business problems and design practical technology or AI solutions that deliver measurable outcomes
  • Hands‑on experience with AI or automation platforms (e.g., Glean, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, low‑code agents, or comparable tools)
  • Strong skills in mapping workflows and processes, defining requirements, and breaking work into clear, testable steps
  • Comfort working with data — using AI copilots, BI tools, or basic queries to explore datasets, define KPIs, and interpret trends
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain AI concepts, tradeoffs, and risks to non‑technical stakeholders
  • Experience collaborating across business, IT, and data teams, and influencing stakeholders without direct authority
  • Growth mindset and curiosity about emerging AI capabilities, with a track record of learning and applying new tools quickly
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree (e.g., MBA or similar) is a plus
Be Successful — Your Path

First 90 Days:Immerse in our culture, connect with mentors (Blox Buddies), and map the systems and meet with key stakeholders that rely on your work. Discuss and create short/long term goals.

Six Months:

  • Establish a prioritized backlog of AI opportunities for focus areas, with value hypotheses, initial sizing, and agreed success metrics
  • Set up basic dashboards or reports tracking adoption, usage, and impact for your solutions, using Rosie, Glean, or other analytics tools
  • Build strong working rhythms with Business Strategy, IT, data and AI partners, and functional leaders in primary stakeholder groups

One Year:

  • Own a portfolio of production AI solutions delivering sustained, quantified impact (hours saved, cycle‑time reduction, revenue or cost improvements, risk reduction)
  • Standardize 2–3 reusable patterns or blueprints (e.g., summarization, reconciliation, intake triage, workflow orchestration) that other teams can adopt
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to leaders on where to apply AI next and how to balance ambition, feasibility, and risk
  • Contribute to Infoblox’s AI operating model by sharing lessons learned, helping refine governance, and mentoring newer AI builders and champions
