The Weather Company is seeking a Senior Manager, AI Software Engineering to lead a high-performance team in building cloud-native AI architectures on AWS. You will balance strategic management with hands-on development, driving initiatives across requirements, design, and deployment while integrating Claude, Gemini, and OpenAI technologies.

You will mentor engineers, manage resources and budgets, and partner with product stakeholders to deliver enterprise AI solutions with top-tier software

Qualifications

Must have: 8+ years of software development experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong proficiency in full-stack development, cloud infrastructure, and modern software practices.
Experience leading AI-enabled software projects and collaborating with business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of software engineers focused on AI execution.
Be a player/coach with 20% hands-on work.
Oversee the software and AI development lifecycle from design to deployment on AWS.
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements and timelines.
Ensure high standards of coding, testing, and documentation.
