Raydar is hiring a Software Engineer to design and deliver AI-driven features end to end from backend services to user interfaces. You will work with a small in-person team in New York City to ship dependable systems and build measurement tooling to show progress.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience shipping AI agents, LLM frameworks, and orchestration layers, with a focus on accuracy, speed, and auditability in fast-changing data environments. On-site, full-time role with equity potential.

Qualifications

• Shipped AI agents to production coordinating language models and tools.
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, tool calling, and prompt engineering.
• Strong software fundamentals: APIs, data modeling and system design.

Responsibilities

• Build autonomous software agents that handle complex, multi-step tasks using planning, code execution, search and retrieval.
• Develop background agents that triage communications, process meetings and draft messages on behalf of users.
• Create the orchestration layer that connects language models, context, tools, retrieval and business logic reliably.
