Santander in Madrid is seeking an AI Software Engineering Specialist to design, develop, and deploy AI‑driven solutions that accelerate software delivery and improve quality across the SDLC.

You will work with DevOps, cloud platforms, and AI‑enabled engineering practices, collaborating across engineering, infrastructure, and business domains to advance a bold, technology‑driven transformation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, orPlatform Engineering.
• Hands‑on with deterministic AI agents and automation.
• Experience containerizing with Docker/Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design deterministic AI agents and automation for software engineering.
• Automate SDLC activities: code generation/review, testing, documentation, quality analysis, incidents, CI/CD.
• Design scalable, secure cloud architectures.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and standards.
• Develop backend and frontend apps.
• Integrate AI/LLM into platforms and workflows.
• Promote best practices in security/observability/automation.
• Collaborate across teams.
• Lead AI-enabled software engineering initiatives.
• Evaluate emerging AI tech and tooling.
